Mission:
Strange Matter
Location: Corsa's Quart
Timeline: MD 9:45
At last he reached his assigned quarters and stepped past the door's threshold. Corsa had never expected his room to be under his sole use. Nor this sizeable. With a small huff he set his bag on the deck and took a look around the main room which considered of a desk, table and chairs to go with it. There was a replicator, LCARS terminal and an assortment of unused PADDs beside said display screen.
Everything was pristine and there was plenty of free space. There was even a welcoming looking sofa placed against some of the viewports but without enough height to obscure them from view. He followed the path from the lounge to the bedroom which again was another comfortable looking room with a bed that just begged for him to flop forward and sleep. There was also a bathroom past the next door inside of the bedroom.
Corsa decided had too much space. What was the purpose? It annoyed him to no end how empty the quarters felt. He brought his bag into the room and pulled out what belongings he took with him to the ship. His Traxian Navy dress uniform was left to hang neatly in the wardrobe but he figured he'd buff the shoes and properly pressed the dark blue fabric free of creases.
The bedside table had been given a small stack of actual books; military theory mostly as well as a typical story set in some medieval fantasy epic. There was also a couple of framed photographs; one with two uniformed figures a man and woman each looking sternly at the capture device as well as a young Costa in his naval uniform. He set them on the desk inside the main room. He hung up his officer's dirk above his desk.
That was the sum of his possessions; books, a uniform, a short sword and two photographs. Still the quarters felt empty and he looked around the room with a forlorn sensation. "Well...least I have plenty to keep me busy." he told himself sadly before he stepped back out of his quarters and into the corridor.
